Wolfhound

Goal:
Either kill all villagers together with the werewolves kill or all werewolves together with the villagers. Can decide whether he plays as a werewolf or as a villager.

Detailed description

In the first night, the wolfhound has the choice: He may emulate his ancestors, or embody a decent member of the community. Depending on what he chose, he will either wake up with the werewolves or play on the side of the village for the rest of the game.

Hints for using this in the app

If the wolfhound wakes up during the first night, his choice can be assigned as an attribute. The background color of this player will change accordingly. If notifications are activated, a warning is issued if the player to whom the attribute is assigned to doesn’t have the identity of the wolf hound. The attributes “Wild hound” and “Tame hound” cannot both be assigned to the same player.

Your choice has a great impact – will the werewolves have a decisive advantage this round or will you lead the village to victory, knowing that the werewolves are at a disadvantage?

Interactions

  • Cupid: The wolfhound chooses its identity only after the lovers are determined.
  • Bear commander: The bear commander’s bear recognizes the wolfhound as a werewolf only if it has decided to be one.
  • Doge: The doge recognizes the wolfhound as a werewolf only if it has decided to be one.
  • Lonesome wolf: The wolf hound can only be devoured by the lonesome wolf if it has chosen to become a werewolf.
  • Pyromaniac: If the wolfhound is burned the first night, it can no longer decide on its fate and becomes a werewolf directly out of fright.
  • Shapeshifter: If the shapeshifter becomes a wolfhound, he may choose again afterwards.
  • Big bad wolf: When the wolfhound dies and was a werewolf, the big bad wolf loses its ability after the night is over.
  • Opportunist: If the opportunist becomes a wolfhound, she may choose to be a werewolf or villager regardless of the wolfhound’s decision. She either tells the game master or the scene is called again after the takeover. Until she has decided, she counts as a villager and can win with the village.
  • Seeress: The seeress recognizes the wolfhound as a werewolf only if it has decided to be one.
  • Spirit: The wolf hound does not count as a werewolf and doesn’t belong to their faction as long as he has chosen to belong to the village.
