Cupid

Goal:
Kill all werewolves. Determines a couple of lovers on the first night that can win the game together. Wins with the village and with the lovers.

Detailed description

As the god of love getting bored from time to time, cupid can decide the fate of two villagers by making them fall in love. A narcissistic cupid can also specify himself as one of the lovers. The two lovers then have the goal of winning the game together, regardless of their previous objective (fallen angel, werewolf, grouchy old man, pied piper) to win together. If one of them is a werewolf and the other one belongs to the village, then all other players must be eliminated according to the rules of the game for them to win. However, if one of the lovers dies, the other can no longer bear the grief and also dies.
Cupid wins the game together with the village; if, however, the lovers survive until the end, cupid also wins the game.

Variants

1) Another card is shuffled in so one remains when the cards are dealt. Cupid then receives this identity after he has shot his arrows.

Hints for the game master and further rules

Ask the players to put out their hands so you can reach the lovers as easily as possible.

Hints for using this in the app

If the attribute “In love” is assigned, an arrow sound will play as long as sounds are activated. The lovers have their own scene in which they should be tapped and wake up.

Hints for you if you’re playing this character

Choose a player combination that is as interesting as possible – especially players who usually argue a lot with each other make the best pairs.

  • Fallen angel: If the fallen angel falls in love, he does NOT win if he dies in the first vote.
As a variant, you can also combine the fallen angel and Cupid in one card.
  • Shapeshifter: The shapeshifter chooses his identity before Cupid shoots his arrows.
  • Grouchy old man: If the grouchy old man falls in love, the group affiliation will not matter anymore. His only goal then is to win together with his dearest.
